Try a Mexican-inspired hot dog topped with cabbage, green onions, and avocado.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine cabbage, green onions, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and sugar.

Step 2

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Step 3

Place hot dogs on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 6 minutes, turning occasionally.

Step 4

Place 1/4 cup cabbage in each hot dog bun; place 1 hot dog on each bun. Slice avocado; divide among hot dogs.

Good dog!

Made exactly as written and we really enjoyed them.  I wasn't a huge fan of the red cabbage, so next time maybe napa cabbage.  But definitely a great and extremely easy dinner for a busy work night dinner.
