Prepare this recipe to dress up your favorite maple syrup. Serve over pound cake, or with waffles or pancakes.
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cups sliced peeled Fuji apple (about 1/2 pound)
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How to Make It
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add apple to pan; sauté 10 minutes or until tender. Stir in syrup; cook 2 minutes or until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat; stir in cream and cinnamon.
