Nothing--repeat, nothing--tastes better this time of year than fresh corn on the cob. Just cook up your favorite variety, and then flavor it with one of our tasty butters. Start with 1/2 cup softened butter, and add our suggested stir-ins.
1/2 cup softened butter
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
Stir softened butter; stir in basil and remaining ingredients.

This is a great recipe! I just made blueberry muffins, and the lemon-basil butter was the perfect accompaniment. I would recommend using salted butter, or adding a pinch of kosher salt to unsalted butter, to enhance the flavor.
