Irish whiskey, brown sugar, and a crown of frothy cream adds smoothness and warmth to this traditional coffee cocktail. 

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first three ingredients in a glass and stir gently until sugar dissolves.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, use a hand mixer to whip the cream unti it forms soft peaks. Top the cocktail with the desired amount of cream. Do not stir.

I had Irish coffee several times in Ireland and they don't whip the cream until real stiff. You should be able to pour it over the back side of a spoon into the coffee and it wil stay on the top. Otherwise the recipe is about the same. I use Demerara sugar in mine I love it.
