I made this recipe with corn bread mix and a can of cream corn and it turned out pritty good.
Despite the really unappetizing name, I gave this a try......not terribly impressed, though I wasn't really expecting to be. I was hoping it would be more like a corn dog, but in a casserole form. The batter was pretty dense, which one could tweak I'm sure, but I think if we're wanting something like it, I would just opt for the cocktail weiners in croissants or something. It tasted OK, probably because of the cheese, but didn't present well at all. Doubt I'll make this one again.
