This is a great recipe. The only thing I did to change it was to add a little tobasco and some chicken broth instead of some of the water.
These were delicious and a hit at my Thanksgiving dinner. I did tweak the recipe just a bit though. I doubled the lima beans for the bacon/onion/brown sugar/butter. They would have been too rich for my family's taste. I also used turkey bacon instead of pork bacon. Really one of the best recipes I've tried!! I will definitely make this one again.
