If you have leftover pizza or bread dough, put it to delicious use.

How to Make It

Roll dough into an 8 x 4-inch rectangle, and proceed. Sprinkle oregano and thyme over dough. Fold dough over twice; knead 4 times. Roll into an 8 x 4-inch rectangle. Cut into 4 (4 x 2-inch) rectangles; twist. Arrange on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Brush with olive oil; sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.

Used Pillsbury Pizza Dough

I spread it out on the cutting board, sprinkled the herbs, trifolded then doubled and then rolled out into a rectangle.  Baking time was 12 minutes.  Very good; I did use a whole pound and cut into 8 twists, so if I did the math correctly, that would double the calorie and nutrition counts per twist.  Definitely worth it.
