  • Spread peanut butter evenly on one slice of bread; spread jelly on second slice. Put slices together to form a sandwich.

  • Melt 1/2 tablespoon of the butter in a medium skillet over medium-low heat. Place sandwich in skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Remove sandwich from the skillet; add remaining 1/2  tablespoon butter and melt. Return sandwich to skillet, uncooked side down, and cook until golden brown and peanut butter melts, about 3 minutes. Enjoy immediately.
