How to Make It

Step 1

Place flank steak in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add Basic Marinade. Seal bag, and chill 8 hours, turning occasionally.

Step 2

Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.

Step 3

Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 8 to 10 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness. Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin strips. Serve over salad greens with Horseradish Sauce.

I have several flank steak marinades, but this is really the best. Simple but with great flavors.

I love how easy the marinade is and how great the resulting flavors are. And the horsy sauce really adds some zing. Be sure to let the steak rest before cutting and cut at an angle for best results.
