i didn't bother with the grill, just cooked the crust on 475. i made my own barbecue sauce and used a poached whole chicken breast. it was delicious.
Very different from your usual pizza - our favorite grilled pizza. The gouda combined with the barbeque sauce is a wonderful combination. Good use of leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken. When grilling - get the grill VERY hot but when the pizza is placed on the grill put the burners under the pizza on low or even turn off otherwise can burn crust. I would only try this with a gas grill.
My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. I made my own whole wheat dough and added everything but the cilantro which I didn't have on hand. I also added red onions to ours.
