These were outstanding and very easy to make. I am not sure why anyone thinks they are very spicy unless you 1. used too much sambal oelek or 2. have an extremely low tolerance for any spice at all. They were very flavorful and delicious. Next time I might double the recipe so there will be more leftovers.
Amazing flavor! The sauce tastes good on brown rice too! This will be one of our regulars now. I didn't have chili paste, so I just sprinkled a little crushed red pepper on the chicken, not too much, but enough to give it a little kick. It was delicious!
This was very good, but be warned: it is SPICY. I will cut down on the sambal next time I make it because the sauce is really good, I just wish my mouth wasn't burning so much by the end of the meal! Will make again.
