We love the bright pop of this vinaigrette; for a sweeter version, use balsamic, cider, or rice vinegar.


How to Make It

Combine salad greens, radishes, and cucumber in a large bowl. Combine olive oil, vinegar, salt, and freshly ground black pepper, stirring with a whisk. Drizzle over salad mixture; toss gently to coat.

Good, basic vinaigrette

Just what the recipes says it is - a simple, quick, and tasty salad dressing.  There are certainly better dressings out there, but when you need something to simply dress some greens for a weeknight supper, this is a great recipe to have around.

I have been looking for a very simple go to vinaigrette and this fits perfectly! We like onion flavors and chose to add a small amount of minced shallot which helped step this up just a bit.
