I can't believe I'm the first to rate this wonderful side dish. I've been making this dish for Thanksgiving ever since it was first published and every year it gets rave reviews and kudos for being a deliciously fresh alternative to the typical green bean fare served on Turkey Day. Of course I make it throughout the year too because it's my husband's favorite to eat and my favorite to make. It's a snap to prepare and an ideal dish to make ahead. I think it's even better after a day in the fridge to let the flavors all meld together! I haven't changed any ingredients but I am liberal with my measurements of the ingredients, often adding more tomatoes and more mustard and I always insist on french cut green beans because I like the overall texture better. I double the recipe for the holiday, but that is so easy to do!
