This simple side dish is even easier when you use purchased grated carrots. Golden raisins and orange juice offer a touch of sweetness. You can also substitute diced cooked beets for the carrots.

How to Make It

Step 1

Place cumin in a small skillet. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes or until toasted and fragrant, stirring frequently.

Step 2

Combine cumin and remaining ingredients in a bowl. Cover and chill.

Served with the turkey kefta with sweet onion and raisin sauce. Very refreshing and tasty, though I wound up going back and making more dressing and toasting more cumin. Recipe as written could use another 50% or 100% of both.
