  • Bring first 9 ingredients to a boil in a large skillet, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add onions and raisins; return to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often, 10 minutes. Uncover and cook over medium heat, stirring often, 20 to 25 minutes or until glazed. Remove and discard bay leaf. Serve warm.
