I typically oven roast my garlicky asparagus so this was a nice change. I simmered the asparagus for 4 minutes then drained, wiped out the pan, added the oil and garlic and after 1 minute, put the asparagus back in for 2 more minutes of cooking. They came out perfectly and I'll definitely use this method to cook asparagus again in the future.
One of my new favorites. Easy and tasts amazing.
Very quick and easy. My husband liked it.
Meh... Not bad, but not that great either. Sort've bland. In terms of quick asparagus recipes, it doesn't really trump simple saute with a hint of lemon juice. I doubt I'll make this again.
This is excellent. Easy and elegant; it always pleases.
Not bad and very easy.
Very good. Even my 10-yr old will eat his asparagus when I make it this way.
Nice side dish, turned out well.
So easy and yummy. I actually steamed the asparagus, and then put them on a plate and dried the pan out, put the oil and garlic in the same pan, cooked the garlic as instructed, and then dumped the asparagus back in to coat it. Much easier clean-up, only one pan.
