HOWARD L. PUCKETT
Yield
4 dozen

Pita rounds, garlic powder, and cooking spray are all you need for these homemade pita chips.  This recipe yields 4 dozen chips from only 6 pita rounds, so the cost is considerably less than purchasing them ready-made.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°.

Step 2

Coat one side of each pita with cooking spray; sprinkle with garlic powder. Cut each pita into 8 wedges; arrange wedges in a single layer on baking sheets. Bake at 425° for 6 minutes or until golden.

Yummy and really easy. Good for last minute social events, awesome with spinach dip.

These are outstanding. My 12 year old made these and loved these. Much cheaper -- and tastier -- than a bag of 'em.

I like it but would have tasted better with some salt.

Yum! These are easy to make and much healthier than most "chips". Taste great with guacamole, hummus, etc.
