Making flavored butter is easy. Serve up a scoop with a basket of warm dinner rolls for a cozy side dish tonight.
3/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh tarragon
Finely shredded zest from 1 lemon
How to Make It
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring often, until garlic is softened and butter foam subsides, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat, then stir in herbs and zest.
