Blanch the green beans (Step 1) up to a day ahead. When you are ready to prepare supper, just toss the green beans in the skillet and sauté.
Excellent and simple. Grown up green beans! Used pre-washd French cut green beans and threw in a few baby carrots that I had left over. Served for Thanksgiving..pretty!
Substituted 1.5 tsp of pre-minced garlic and sauteed first in the butter/oil - I like garlic. Super easy to make. Instant hit.
This was probably one of the easiest and tastiest side dishes that I have done in a while. I made this for a dinner with my brother and sister in law and they loved them. My sister in law even wants me to make these for Thanksgiving!
Absolutely delicious! Garlic makes everything bettter. I didn't use butter, only olive oil, and I used blue lake beans, and our guests really enjoyed it. I will save this simple and wonderful recipe!
Used green beans from garden and thought this was simple and delicious. Good for weeknight supper or weekend guests.
