If you've ever wondered how to make guacamole that's the perfect, creamy consistency, trust us, the food processor makes quick and easy work of this crowd-pleasing dip. Our Easy Guacamole is just that—ridiculously easy. Simply place your aromatics and seasonings in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to chop; then, add in the star ingredient—avocado—and process until smooth. Besides being downright delicious, guacamole is rich in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, making it an easy appetizer you can feel good about. We like the heat level that results from leaving the seeds in the jalapeño, but you can seed the pepper for a milder guac. Serve this easy-to-make gucamole with tortilla chips or crudités.
1 1/2 tablespoons coarsely chopped red onion
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 garlic clove
1/2 small jalapeño pepper
1 ripe peeled avocado
1 tablespoon cilantro leaves
How to Make It
Place first 5 ingredients in a food processor; pulse 5 times or until finely chopped. Add avocado; process until smooth. Sprinkle with cilantro.
Nice taste, easy to make. I like guacamole a bit chunkier though.

I made a double batch and followed the recipe except for adding 1/4 c of sour cream. My family loved this! This will be a keeper!

This is my favorite guacamole recipe. This is great as a snack or spread on an oven baked tostada with turkey tacos.

My husband and I both loved this recipe. It was easy to make and used just a few ingredients that I usually have on hand. The basic recipe is tasty but not too spicy, so there's room to play with it. I'll use the entire jalepeno and a little more garlic next time. It's something I'd make it for guests. It's a definate keeper.
