Makes 8 croissants

How to Make It

Heat oven to 375° F.

Unroll the dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place about 10 chocolate chips on the bottom third of each triangle and roll the dough up around the chocolate.

Transfer the croissants to a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper, if desired, for easier cleanup). Bake until golden brown, 12 to 14 minutes.

Serve warm or at room temperature.

So good! So easy! I used the chopped chocolate as I don't care for the "waxiness" of chocolate I want to melt. After several "made by the recipe" tries, I kicked it up a notch & spread on a THIN layer of room temp. softened cream cheese-from-the-tub not from the block, then added the chocolate. Guess I just have to add more calories wherever I can. (Sigh!)

This is so easy but still impressive. I have also added some fresh raspberries or raspberry jam with the chips to make it even better!
