1 (8-oz.) Granny Smith apple, cored and roughly chopped
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves
2 tablespoons unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
Est. added sugars 6g
How to Make It
Process all ingredients in a blender until well incorporated, about 1 1/2 minutes. Pour through a fine-mesh strainer into an ice-filled glass; discard solids.
I've been spending too much on Kevita's and this sounded somewhat similar. I really liked it and will try it with different apples. Found the "Mother" applie cider vinegar at Aldi but used Blue Agave instead of honey bc that's all I had (both Simply Nature brand). Also used 1/3 t ginger with no fresh in my frig. Kevita's have sparkling water in them and I added a little to this too....makes it light and refreshing.
