Everyone loved it. I served it on Christmas Eve. I would like to try it with champagne instead of club soda.
I have used this recipe at my annual holiday cocktail party every year since it was published. Hang candy canes around the punch bowl, rim the glasses with red sugar or crushed peppermint candies. Pretty to view and tasty !
I made this for a treat today and to try ahead. I figured if it was really good I'd make it on Christmas eve. I was really disappointed though. It had very litttle flavor. It makes a beautiful looking treat, but it needs to be MUCH sweeter! I put a small scoop of whipped topping with crushed peppermint candies and a cherry on top. I'm going to tweak it, because it really is cute to look at!
