the dressing is out of this world! i added some garlic/cayenne honey to it. instead of raisins, used grapes and dried apricots. hormel bacon bits for ease.
Made this for a BBQ, it was quite tasty! Doubled the recipe so as to have enough for a big group. Everything was good, though I wasn't sure about the dressing. I thought it'd be creamy but it was much more of a vinaigrette. I added some extra mayo to thicken it a little bit. But once everything was mixed together, it was very tasty! Would definitely make again.
Delicious enough to feel like a guilty pleasure! I made this for a potluck at work, and added sunflower seeds, carrots and red cabbage for crunch, color and even MORE nutritional goodness. Will make again and again.
This was very good and well received by guests. It needs another texture to kick it over the top.
I made this today for an Easter Dinner side and everyone loved it!
This was great. Just make this with Kielbasa on the grill . It is tart and sweet. I made it without the onions because my husband hates onions and it was still really good!
Yum! I substituted with what I had on hand - craisins, turkey bacon, sauteed yellow onions - instead of raisins, bacon, and red onion. It was delicious! I was skeptical because I tasted the dressing itself, but it was fabulous when all put together and chilled. Also, I blanched the broccoli to make sure the texture/flavor would be good.
This is delish...I substituted craisins for raisins..and the bacon is not really necessary in this side dish. I will make and serve again.
This is so delicious, everyone always loves it and it goes with anything! I sometimes like to swap out halved red grapes for the raisins.
Absolutely love this! A friend bought it over for Easter dinner and we had had it before but it alwyas tastes great! Will be making it this weekend for a BBQ, might I also suggest using some chopped nuts in place of raisins!
so delicious...the sauce was tangy and perfect (i subbed apple cider vinegar though). totally easy to make with pre-cut broccoli. sent it to my mom and sister for their recipe books.
Wonderful! Perfect for company or just for a nice meal at home! We wished there was more! Will be making again soon! It is an easy was to get your important veggies!
Great recipe - the dressing is just right! I used white wine vinegar and it turned out great. I think it would also be good if you steamed the broccoli.
