This is a great recipe. Being from New England, we appreciate the flavor of the fish without over seasoning like most people do. The simplicity of this recipe is the perfect and only way to bake cod or haddock. Thank you for sharing it with the world. LOL
This basic recipe can be modified to whatever you have on hand! It is simple yet can change flavor with orange zest, for example - use fresh herbs whenever possible as the flavor is enhanced. A delicate jasmine or basmati rice, with some green onions, make a flavorful and easy to serve side. Be creative and try it! Panko is so easy to work with.
Easy but rather bland. Will add more seasoning next time.
I sipmly love this recipe cooked it for last nights dinner party and my friends literally loved it had to make some extra servings for seconds served it wth mashed potatoes gravy and string beans I also found some cool recipes @ http://www.codfishrecipes.org thanks for this recipe
Easy simple and Delicious! Fresh Fish makes a big difference
Extremely easy to prepare and cook. A great week night recipe. I added a zesty salad seasoning instead of lemon zest. It was delicious! For an added touch I sauteed mixed greens in olive oil, and garlic and let them simmer in vegetable broth. I topped the Cod with a small serving of the greens.
This was just "ok"... Seemed like it needed something. Sort of bland and uninteresting. Made a skillet mac and cheese dish and steamed veggies which is some of our favs but it just didn't help. My husband liked it but I probably won't make it again. Will look for something better. sorry
Delicious and simple!
