How to Make It

Step 1

Sauté onion in butter in a large skillet until tender. Remove onion from skillet, and set aside.

Step 2

Add flour to pan drippings, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt. Add onion, stirring gently. Garnish with parsley.
