Grilled cheese sandwiches take the sweet side with Walnut Cream Cheese on Cinnamon-Raisin.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Spread cream cheese mixture on 4 bread slices; top with remaining 4 bread slices.

Step 2

Spread outside of sandwiches with softened butter. Cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat 2 minutes on each side or until cheese melts and bread is golden brown.

Simple, fast and delicious. I used fat free spreadable cream cheese and pecans because that's what I had on hand. Added nothing; super tasty just the way it was. Next time though, and there will be a next time, I'll add 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon or grated orange peel. Served with fresh squeezed orange juice, maple bacon and luscious ripe strawberries. Made for a delightful breakfast.
