Makes about 1 3/4 cups

Make any morning a special occasion with Cream Cheese Anglaise on the table. Serve this decadent sauce over your favorite pancakes.

 

How to Make It

Process half-and-half, cream cheese, sugar, egg yolks, cornstarch, and salt in a blender until smooth. Bring mixture to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly. Boil, whisking constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat, and whisk in butter and vanilla. Serve immediately.

This sauce was delicious! We enjoyed it with the Italian Cream pancakes, but alone it is amazing.

The rating system is for the RECIPE, not the nutrition, and how it comes out in flavor which is why we check ratings, ... everyone can see the ingredients and decide for themselves.. I am sure the rating system is not "will you try it?".. one star for a recipe that you did not make ?????

Not sure why you search for a recipe that isn't healthy in nature and then bash said recipe because it isn't healthy. Makes no sense to me why everyone has to be negative and give their input. I'm glad you won't be trying it! More for the rest of us!!!

This has to be very high in cholesterol. I don't see the facts, calories etc. If you did, wonder how many would try this? I won't be trying it.
