45 minutes was way too long. I took out 7 minutes early and still the bacon was mostly burnt. The small parts that were not burnt were absolutely delicious though!!

I made this receipe and did exactly as the directions said. After 15 minutes I began to smell the bacon burning. There is no way this needs to stay in the oven 40-45 minutes. 4-5 maybe. Perhaps there is a typo in the directions? I had the smell of burned bacon in my house all day long.

flavor is really good....BUT....i did buy the thick cut bacon, and followed directions exactly...however parts of the bacon really burned to a crisp in less than 30...i guess the bacon i got wasn't 'uniform' in thickness? I'm gonna keep trying!

We made this but to kick up the sweetness, we dredged the bacon in some syrup first. It was life changingly awesome.
