This was a home run with my family and a dead ringer for the real deal. I cut down the oil so I pan seared the chicken instead of deep frying it and it was perfect.
Yes, I added a thin slice of raw onion. Lettuce, pickle, raw onion and Mayo turn an ordinary fried chicken sandwich to the bomb! Unfortunately, Chick fil A doesn’t like or offer onions so I will usually drive past Chick fil A to dine where they do serve onions (even if I have to request them.
I made this recipe as written and it was simply delicious. Thank you so much for posting. Our grandkids are big fans of this chain but our nearest Chick-Fil-A is about 30 minutes away. While that isn’t all that far, I appreciate the fact that I can now make these at home. The chicken came out so very moist!!! We will make these sandwiches often, no doubt. On another note and I realize that this is not a chat forum…to the reviewer that gave this recipe 2 stars and did not even try it: what is the point of that? If the recipe seems too involved for you, which it actually wasn’t, why not move on and find yourself a 3 ingredient recipe or open a can ?It is disrespectful to the creator of this recipe who took the time to post it, to drag this recipe down WITHOUT even trying it. It is DELICIOUS and quite easy to make. I’d give it 10 stars if I could to make up for this type of nonsense.
Amazing!! I made this in a deep fryer instead of a pan and it turned out incredible, just like Chick-fil-a. Ingredients are perfect for 4 chicken filets.
too many ingredients, too many steps. it may taste wonderful but my time is worth something too
Followed recipe exactly and doubled it. Everyone said it tasted just like the original. My sister is a HUGE chic fil a fan and she loves this recipe.
