1 serving (serving size: about 1 cup)

This Cuban cocktail is fast becoming a favorite in Puerto Rico; the mint and sugar go well with our traditional dishes. If you have access to Key limes, use those for the most authentic flavor.

How to Make It

Place sugar and mint in a 2-cup glass measure; crush with a wooden spoon. Add rum and juice; stir until sugar dissolves. Just before serving, stir in club soda. Place ice in an 8-ounce glass; pour mint mixture over ice.

love it! I've had good mojitos and bad mojitos. This one is outstanding, not too sweet, not too bland, just the right balance especially for a summer afternoon.
