How to Make It

Step 1

Combine first 5 ingredients in a food processor; process until finely ground. Divide chicken mixture into 4 equal portions; shape each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty. Heat a large grill pan over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add patties to pan; cook 5 minutes on each side.

Step 2

Place bottom half of each bun on a plate, and spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise over each. Top each burger with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 patty, and 2 tomato slices. Spread 1 1/2 teaspoons mustard over each bun top, then top burgers.

Omg! This was horrendous! I only eat white meat and try 2 or 3 new recipes a week. My family and I rate new recipes 0-5, 5 being the best. This recipe I threw away. If you hold your breath to eat it it's not as bad but the burps it causes after even made my dog gag

Really good recipe I made it with green peppers and onions instead of the suggested ingredients. Added a little more taste. Cook time is definitely wrong did one side for 5 mins and burnt the patty. I would say 3 mins then flip and repeat till its ready so it gets a 3 star for that. Be prepared for them to fall apart if the chicken doesn't stick well. Fast recipe if you have the chicken .... total time from prep to eating was >20 mins.

IMO, these were delicious! I didn't use a grill pan, but I cooked them 5 minutes per side, as directed, and they turned out like the picture. I also used Multi-Grain Sandwich Thins instead of the buns. Love the flavor of the capers and shallots! To combat the stickiness, I wet my hands with water before forming the patties. It helps a lot!

I'm beginning to think if a chicken burger doesn't have cilantro, avocado and jalapenos with it, it just isn't worth it. This recipe didn't change my mind. DH made it according to the directions. He made it while I was driving home from work, so it took less than 70 minutes. He said he thought cheese would be good, so we added Italian blend cheese. It turned out we had no Dijon. The taste was bland. Although Dijon would have added flavor, in my opinion, a condiment shouldn't make or break a burger. Neither of us liked it, although it was better than the Greek Chicken burger also in this CL issue. We had with tater tots.

The Chicken Puree Base is delicious, however it is very sticky and hard to work with. I added some bread crumbs and managed to make a delicious and more manageable base. Also note it does not take 5 minutes a side to cook. At five minutes you have charcoal.
