Port adds a grown-up twist, but you can sub unsweetened cherry or pomegranate juice, if you like.
2 cups fresh cranberries (about 8 ounces)
3/4 cup dried sweetened cherries
3/4 cup port wine
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
How to Make It
Bring all ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar melts. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 5 minutes or until cranberries begin to pop. Cool slightly before serving.
