Freeze cherries with stems and Southern Comfort in an airtight container 8 hours. Drain; pat cherries dry. (Keep 4 for garnish.) Discard stems from remaining cherries, and coarsely chop cherries. Layer Whiskey-Hot Fudge Sauce, chopped cherries, and ice cream in 4 small glasses. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles, and reserved cherries, if desired.
