Super tasty, super easy. When I'm just making one for myself, using the toaster oven is perfect. I mix it up and sometimes add crushed garlic and/or pesto. If I have it, I add prosciutto, which is super nice in this sandwich. Also brushing a touch of balsamic vinaigrette to the insides of the bread gives it a little zest.
Delicious and easy. If you love these flavors, you will love these sandwiches. Great for making lunch for everyone because they're hot and ready all at once!
I just did not like it the roasted red pepper kept falling out of the bread and there was no flavor at all
These are fantastic! Don't skimp on the basil. It totally makes the recipe. Rather than regular salt, I added a dash of garlic salt. I cooked them on my foreman grill.
very yummy and quick!
YUMMY!!! This was really good and super easy. I didn't mind turning the broiler on for this at all even at 90 degrees out! Served with a light spaghetti salad. Husband LOVED it too.
This was very easy to make and my boyfriend made yum yum noises! I took a previous reviewers advice and added the tomato pesto on one of the bread slices which was delicious. served it with a spinach salad. :)
These are the bomb. This is my new go to meal when I'm too tired to cook. Still craving them - so simple and delicious.
This was a nice, light sandwich for a quick summer dinner. The flavors were simple, classic and refreshing. My husband thought the tomato slices were a little too thick, but even he agreed that it was a nice vegetarian option--not too heavy. Make sure the basil isn't exposed to the broiler or it will get crispy and possibly burnt.
