Buttered Rum Glaze

This is a delicious cake! Somewhat time consuming but worth it. Everybody wants one for their birthday and holidays
Im learning to master the cake. One of my attempts was a lemon sponge cake, turned out great!! However i was sad to learn that there was a high chance of it drying out quick without an icing or glaze of some sort. Quicky trying to find something to match the cake and what i had on hand i came across this little gem. Quick, easy and boy is it great. not a huge fan of icings but this had the consistency of the glaze on an apple fritter!! which everyone loves! great recipe! thanks!
This was sweet and tasty! I put it on the Pecan-Crusted Tilapia. Served with lemon broccoli.
