It seemed too much for a 13” x 9” casserole. By the time the center was done the sides and corners were ov
Delicious as written! This is a favorite of mine and one that friends have asked me to make again.
I wasn't that crazy about this casserole. I made it exactly as written did need to cook it a little bit longer. Yes, it was easy to make and I love making something I can prepare the night before, but this was just not to my families liking.
Delicious! There were no leftovers!
Absolutely wonderful!
This is a great recipe to serve weekend guests! I made it with less dry mustard because I don't care for the mustard flavor. It is even better on the second morning after the ingredients have time to blend well. It serves 4 adults with fruit and muffins for breakfast twice.
This was DEE-LISH! Substituted undiluted evaporated milk for the cream. My husband started raving after his first bite. Served with tomato slices, but fresh fruit would be a better. The hardest part is remembering to start it the night before. It isn't difficult to make and it is very, very worthwhile. Will definitely make again!
This was fantastic! I served it Christmas morning, and it was a huge hit. I used chicken sausage and added onion and garlic. This will be my 'go to' recipe for brunch from now on. Thank you!
My new signature breakfast casserole! I was really not sure about this recipe, given some of the reviews, but it is AMAZING. I used regular seasoned pork sausage instead of hot; it came out lovely and browned on top. Served with caramel rolls.
Everyone loved this recipe! I used plain ground pork and a soft french bread instead of white bread and had to cook it slightly longer but it turned out perfect. I think the people who gave it bad reviews must not have cooked it long enough. I will definitely make it again!
By far my favorite breakfast casserole recipe! I have made it at least 20 times in the past few years, and I've never had it turn out soggy or runny. It's not a quick recipe, but the flavor is incredible. It's my go-to recipe for brunches and showers. I've always made it with brie and never tried it with swiss cheese, and I normally use 2% instead of skim milk. I can't say enough good things about it!
This has become my "go to" recipe for any time I need a breakfast dish. I have taken it to countless brunches and served it over and over in my home when I entertain for brunch. I have learned to print the recipe in advance because i will have so many requests. It is wonderful as is. I haven't changed anything and it is always perfect. I will say I cook it an extra 1/2 hour in my oven to get it done.
I've made many breakfast casserole recipes and this is by FAR the best I've tried. We had 4 adults and 3 little kids and ate the entire 9 x 13 pan in one sitting, just because it was THAT GOOD.
