I tried this with the buttermilk pancakes and it was very tasty. Being a fan of maple syrup, I'll substitute it for the sugar and water next time. For those on Weight Watchers, 1.5 Tbsp is 2 points (enough for 3 of the buttermilk pancakes for a total of 7.5 points).
This sauce had excellent flavor, it could have been alittle thicker though.
Wow! Better than I thought it would be. It was sweet, rich, and delicious. I used it on top of the whole wheat buttermilk pancakes and it went perfect. Would be good on ice cream too....any other ideas?
