For the batch I made today, I used Four Roses Single Barrel. It does make a difference. Family and friends alike really enjoy this dish. Recipe says maranate for 10 minutes, which is fine, but I don't think you want to exceed 30 minutes. This is a winner.

Also use Jack Daniel's b/c that's what is in the house. I also get skinned salmon from Kroger butcher. You've got to try this recipe!
