I wish my cookies turned out a little flatter. I have made these 3 times, and all with the same result. ..crumbly dough and puffy cookies. I've followed the recipe exactly each time. I give up....

don't bother

would not make these again.  Not a hint of Bourbon flavor and too much sugar!

Maybe the dough should be refrigerated before scooping out, but these cookies were awfully flat. Taste isn't bad, but they're not 'pretty' at all. Might try again to see if I can do any better.

I was not pleased with this cookie. I'm not sure if I did something incorrectly, or what. The taste was okay, but the look of it was definitely not like the picture here. It was thin. The butter was at room temperature, so maybe I did not measure my sugar correctly. However, the taste was not good enough for me to say I'd give them another try. I have plenty of other cookie recipes that I'm good at baking.
