How to Make It

Add ½ cup blueberries to each of 4 small bowls. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of sour cream onto each serving of berries. Place 1 teaspoon of brown sugar on top of the sour cream.

It doesn't hurt to pop this under the broiler for a minute. Not too long because you don't want the cream part to get warm throughout. Just enough to get the brown sugar to start melting. (I use plain greek yogurt or, for decadence, vanilla greek yogurt.)

Always, the brown sugar with sour cream will delight your taste buds. When using strawberrys, I use half brown & half white sugar, but then put a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar in the mix. It spikes all the flavors!

Wow! “La Buena Vida” was coined to describe treasures like this humble recipe. Simple yet elegant, tasty yet healthy, and common yet special makes this one a real find. I made this recipe using non-fat sour cream and frozen wild blueberries because I like the size and texture of the berries. When it is stirred together with the sugar and cinnamon it become a wonderful frozen concoction.
