Serves 4 (serving size: 1 burger and 1 tablespoon sauce)

Inspired by the classic cocktail, these bold-flavored burgers make a fantastic brunch entrée. For an extra umami kick, whisk 1 to 2 teaspoons vodka into the sauce.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine ketchup and horseradish in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk.

Step 2

Combine Worcestershire, garlic powder, celery salt, pepper, salt, and beef in a bowl; gently blend with your hands. Form mixture into 4 (3 1/2-inch-diameter) patties.

Step 3

Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add burgers to pan; cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Place 1 burger on bottom half of each bun. Top burgers with ketchup mixture, lettuce, and pickle. Top with top halves of buns.

Delicious, Juicy Burger

My husband and I loved these burgers! Bloody Mary's are not our favorite (not top choice, but we like them). This burger was reminiscent of a Bloody Mary and very juicy and flavorful. Will make again!

Excellent burger--didn't change or add a thing.  Very easy to prepare--I did add the vodka to the ketchup sauce--tasted just like a Bloody Mary.  I served the burgers with Zucchini fries from Trader Joe's.

I'm a fan of Bloody Mary's so the same spices in a burger sounded good to me. It was very tasty and makes for an easy weeknight dinner. I did add a slice of swiss cheese.
