Forget the kosher salt and add OLD BAY Seasoning.
The cooking instructions need to be changed slightly. While this recipe calls for cooking at medium-high heat in a non-stick skillet, many lessor-quality non-stick skillets are not to be heated over medium heat, or the Teflon/whatever coating of the skillet can be ruined, and start eroding into other foods cooked later.
this is an excellent recipe … delicious and simple. Most crab cake recipes I see have 15 ingredients. Trust Epicurious to cut to the heart of the matter.

These are the best crab cakes that I have ever eaten. I am 74 and therefore have eaten lots of crab cakes. I did have all the ingredients on hand except old panko so had to buy a new one. Easy to assemble. Delicious!
