Make these a few days ahead, and chill in an airtight container.

How to Make It

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat; stir in pecans and next 5 ingredients. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until syrupy coating on nuts almost evaporates. Stir in sesame oil; remove from heat. Spread pecans in a parchment paper-lined jelly-roll pan; sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cool completely.

I made these for a cocktail party. Everyone enjoyed the flavor, but they were sticky. It was humid when I made them so I wondered if they didn't set properly. I will make again.

although i like all the combined flavors, this snack is a little too oily for my taste.  the 1 tbsp of sesame oil really takes it over the top, maybe less butter?

This was a waste of some pretty pricey pecans. The taste was fine, but they were so GREASY I can't imagine serving them without wet-wipes. Off to find a better recipe.
