Serve White Bean, Kale and Sausage Stew with lots of crusty bread to soak up the flavorful liquid.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine broth, tomatoes, beans, onion, garlic and sausage in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.

Step 2

Stir in kale, cover and cook until kale has softened, about 15 minutes. Season with salt before serving.

Very good. I was surprised at how flavorful given the lack of seasonings. I didn't even add salt as my chicken broth was salty enough. Used venison sausage since that's what I had. So easy (and I misread and added the sausage raw! Cooked for 7 hours on high and was perfect.)

Excellent soup - I doubled the recipe except for the sausage and it was still outstanding.
