Recipe by Southern Living March 2015
I'm not sure why this recipe had only two stars. I've made it several times for guests, who always rave. If you are a bacon purist, perhaps this isn't for you, but I love a twist on the traditional.
I love this concept, but even the lesser amount of time suggested, 40 minutes, was too much. Bacon was burned, burned, burned! I checked it halfway through because it was smelling burned. Bacon was still okay. Bacon grease and brown sugar burning in bottom of pan. I trusted the recipe and didn't check again until the timer went off. Too late! Don't know if less time or a lower oven would be better, but I will try again! This has potential!
