How to Make It

Preheat oven to 350°. Stir together brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, and ground red pepper. Dredge bacon slices in sugar mixture, pressing to adhere. Arrange bacon in a single layer on a wire rack coated with cooking spray; place in an aluminum foil-lined jelly-roll pan. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until crisp.

I'm not sure why this recipe had only two stars. I've made it several times for guests, who always rave. If you are a bacon purist, perhaps this isn't for you, but I love a twist on the traditional.
