We love it. I usually reduce the bread crumbs and add oatmeal instead.
Bland and dry meatloaf. I prefer the American Heart Assoc meatloaf with a twist which has zucchini in. This did not have much of a bbq flavor to it. I wouldn't bother making again without significant adjustments.
The sauce is outstanding, I would make extra to serve with the dish. We served this with the Mashed Potatoes with Parsley-Shallot Butter, it is a great combo.
I must have done something wrong, because this is one of the worst CL dishes I have ever made. The meat was dry and bland, and the vegetables inside (carrots and onions) were not thoroughly cooked - still a bit crunchy. Pretty awful. I am saving this recipe only to remind myself never to make it again!

Not only is this one of the most unique, tasty meatloaves ever --- my KIDS LOVE IT! It even gets some carrots in their bellies! It's wonderful. Highly recommended.
