This Banana-Caramel Milk Shake is a simple and delicious treat. The homemade Caramel Sauce is worth the extra time, but you can substitute your favorite store-bought version or our Cottage Kitchen Favorite.

How to Make It

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve in individual glasses, and top with additional Caramel Sauce, if desired.

Chef's Notes

Test kitchen tip: Using a frozen banana gives the shake an extra-creamy consistency.

Fantastic milkshake. However, I will reduce the amount of caramel sauce next time since it made the milkshake almost sickeningly sweet and also difficult to taste the banana. I used storebought caramel - don't know if that made the difference or not with the sweetness. I used a frozen banana.
