In the ultimate combination of savory and sweet, this sandwich snack combines banana and bacon for an unbeatable mid-day treat.

How to Make It

Spread each slice of bread with 1 1/4 teaspoons almond butter. Slice banana into 1/2-inch-thick slices; arrange slices evenly over 2 bread slices. Cook bacon in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from pan; cut each slice in half, and divide evenly over bananas. Top with remaining 2 bread slices, almond butter side down. Add sandwiches to drippings in pan; cook over medium heat on each side 2 minutes or until lightly browned. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally. Sprinkle evenly with powdered sugar.

I made this for my breakfast today; used low fat peanut butter.  So good and filling.  Would make again.  Quality bread is essential.
