I make this recipe quite often, exactly as written. Everyone always raves about it.
I made this recipe with a few additions of my own, as I thought it would be bland as is. I also added 1/2 lb. sage sausage, used ground chicken instead of beef, added a half package of onion soup mix, worchestershire and a splash of tobasco. They were wonderful. The main ingredients listed are a good starter for the recipe, I just knew that for me, it needed a few extras to make the grade.
